Day 116

This is chocolate with an advanced case of chocolate bloom. This happens when you leave chocolate sitting out in the heat. The temperature swings make some of the cocoa butter separate and rise to the top. Look close for the dark bits of chocolate still visible to get an idea of how much lighter the top of this bar became. And I use the word "bar" lightly.

Here is an overhead shot of the liquid. Note that there has been some sort of curious separation going on in the container. Either that, or part of this is spoiling faster than the rest. Unfortunately, the chocolate sank to the bottom so you won't be seeing it again, at least for a couple hundred days.
